Outbreak (1995) Trending on Netflix

Outbreak (1995) ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dustin Hoffman, Rene Russo, Morgan Freeman, Donald Sutherland, Cuba Gooding Jr, Kevin Spacey, a young Patrick ‘McDreamy’ Dempsey all starred in the virus movie Outbreak (1995) and noticed it trending on Netflix.

He isn’t mad about excessive concessions charges, he’s dying from a virus infection in Outbreak

There’s a movie theater scene around 40 minutes into the film that is absolutely chilling in light of current world times. A man is sick, coughing all over inside the movie theater, the particles of his cough travel through the air and into the mouth of another moviegoer.

Yikes!

On the coronavirus front …

We received a free cruise certificate on our last trip to Vegas. We discussed putting off the cruise as late into this year or next if possible. It’s not the best time to be thinking about cruise ships.

The world’s largest association of cruise lines on Sunday announced it would adopt enhanced screening measures for passengers. Cruise Lines International Assn. said it would not allow anyone who has visited South Korea, Iran, China or affected areas of Italy to board its ships. All passengers will also be subject to temperature screenings, and those with readings above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit may be asked to disembark.

U.S. has a coronavirus warning for its citizens: Don’t travel on cruise ships

Unfortunately, Washington State in the United States is where this virus is having the greatest impact so far. Life here locally is changing, particularly downtown Seattle. I remain hopeful that they will find a vaccine, flu season will end or something else positive besides the neverending barrage of news stories … and now entertainment stories crossing over.

As proven by trending of a fictional movie on a streaming service, the lines are being blurred between true life and art.

My call to consider streaming as a reasonable temporary alternative source for new movies should be under strong consideration, see: During China’s Current Theatrical Shutdown Why Not Offer Streaming as Alternative Screening Option?. It’s better than delaying movie theater releases.

Heck, let the movie theaters setup their own streaming service. AMC already has one (AMC Theater On-Demand Movie Service Launching – Will It Offer Anything Different?), it would be easy to allow them to start streaming new movies inside the theatrical window.

It’s not a matter of if this will ever happen — the coronavirus aside — it’s when.
